February 6 Update

From the snow battered Valley Forge Christian College campus here in Phoenixville PA, I figured it was about time for a little update. We’re snowed in today with over 15 inches of snow on the ground enjoying some much needed rest. Things have been quite busy, but I have to report that we are doing extremely well and are encouraged by how well the Lord has led us recently.

Classes at VFCC have been in session now for almost a month. I am taking 17 credits, and Jaclyn is doing 13.5. I’ve been blessed to find an excellent job that I enjoy quite a bit. I’m working part-time (20 hours a week) driving a school bus. The pay is great and allows for quite a bit of flexibility with classes. It also allows my nights and weekends to be free and to top it off, I can walk to the depot! To say the least it has been fun and such a blessing.

Jaclyn is working in retail at the King of Prussia Mall a few nights a week. With my job in place Jaclyn can afford to work a little less and spend more time studying music. In addition to classes starting and work getting under way we have plugged into Calvary Assembly of God and are blessed to be part of this church family and look forward to our next season there.

Jaclyn and I also are involved with the Philadelphia Tabernacle of David and usually take one Saturday a month to be part of a 12-hour prayer and worship watch. I’m on the board and also head up their sound/media type stuff. Jaclyn had the chance to get back into leading worship, which she did at our last event on January 16. We’ll be at Faith Love Outreach Church in Philadelphia coming up on February 20 from 8am-8pm continuing to pray and intercede for Philadelphia.

Thanks for checking up with us. We’ll hopefully get a little better and updating this more often. Be sure to check out our individual blogs and keep in touch.

Alex
